The Artist and His Art

“I have always been drawn to ways of working that have allowed for discovery, surprise, failure and redemption. I find my images in the layers of paint, discover the form as my hands touch the clay, surrender to the vagaries of the fire. Each work comes to me, not as an answer, but as another question. Every year at this time, I hear Fogelberg's song, Same Old Lang Syne on the radio.

-Born in Chicago, Illinois.
-He was discovered back in '71 while attending UOI in Urbana-Champaign.
-In 2004, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Unfortunately, he doesn't record music anymore but his other talents include ceramics and photography. His artwork is beautiful. Sounds like his cancer is in remission.
