This article comes at a bad time. The biggest food day of year is coming up and we don't think of cutting back on calories. Everybody is digging out those old Thanksgiving recipes and clipping coupons that you find now-not in December. It's the time of the year that you can show off your cooking/baking talents to family and friends.
Unfortunately, the downside to living in the country is that you have to drive to get anywhere. My commute to work is about an hour and twenty minutes one way. Unleaded gasoline in this area is around $3.15 a gallon. This doesn't mean that we're moving back to Chicago;-) Could high-speed railway work? By reducing the amount of cars, it could cut down emissions of carbon dioxide and oil. Just a thought.
Have a good evening.
